PAC Worldwide is seeking an Engineering Equipment Platform Leader to oversee a platform of converting equipment that transforms paper web into finished protective packaging products.</p> <p>This role is ideal for engineers with packaging and converting expertise who thrive on solving complex challenges, driving equipment innovation, and making a tangible impact in manufacturing.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Own the engineering strategy for paper packaging converting equipment across multiple PAC facilities </li><li>Lead capital projects-including equipment purchases, modifications, designs, and deployments-delivering results on time and within budget </li><li>Translate strategic goals into advanced technologies that balance competitive advantage with production feasibility </li><li>Partner with operations, safety, and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement </li><li>Collaborate with R&D and Technical Product Managers to design, scale, and standardize production assets </li><li>Build and manage supplier networks to ensure consistent, reliable equipment performance </li><li>Guide the transition from beta/lab prototyping to full-scale production, ensuring a seamless handoff to operations </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a recognized engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) </li><li>4+ years of experience in equipment design for manufacturing </li><li>Background in Folder Gluer converting equipment (folding carton or corrugated) strongly preferred </li><li>Proven ability to scope and deliver projects in a matrixed environment </li><li>Strong project management skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools </li></ul> <p>Why Join PAC</p> <p>At PAC Worldwide, we go beyond packaging-we design solutions that protect, connect, and create impact.
