<p>Position Title: Behavioral Health Clinician</p> <p>Department: Behavioral Health</p> <p>Supervisor: Manager of Behavioral Health</p> <p>Status/Hours Per Week: Exempt / 40 hours</p> <p>Primary Function:</p> <p>The Behavioral Health (BH) Clinician is responsible for delivery of Behavioral Health services to registered patients in a dynamic, federally qualified community health center.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide psychosocial assessments and behavioral health therapy to individuals, couples, family and groups. </li><li>Provide crisis intervention and information about community resources and services to Behavioral Health clients. </li><li>Maintain individual caseload and deliver group therapy for children and/or adults. </li><li>Attend multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and Utilization Reviews. </li><li>Collaborate care with Primary Care and other departments as needed. </li><li>Complete all appropriate paperwork and documentation in compliance with Behavioral Health department policy and procedures. </li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdepartmental care team meetings. </li><li>Participate in oversight of Master's level interns if needed. </li><li>Perform additional duties for the Behavioral Health department as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Basic Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in social work and current Massachusetts LCSW license, or ability/willingness to obtain LCSW within 6 months of employment start. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A clinical social worker/clinician with solid assessment skills. </li><li>Knowledge of trauma-informed care and integrated care is a plus. </li><li>Commitment to community health/service, desire to work with a patient population with high needs. </li><li>Good working knowledge of computers. </li><li>Strong verbal skills, ability to communicate well and work well with others both within the BH team and throughout other departments within the health center. </li><li>Bilingual language skills in Cape Verdean Creole or Spanish is desired. </li></ul> <p>Independent Action:</p> <p>Work independently adhering to UCC policies and procedures.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibility:</p> <p>None</p> <p>Define Access Level to PHI: Level 4: Authorized to access full health information. UCC position and job responsibilities involve the provision of patient care and working as a clinical team member. Staff in this category level, although allowed full access, should only access the necessary information for each respective treatment encounter/circumstance.</p>
