Currently, VAPAE is interested in meeting qualified candidates to teach its Arts Ed 109 - Design/Media Arts Methods for the Teaching Artist course.</p> <p>The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities for students who identify as designers or media arts artists to build skills in teaching and curriculum design for a variety of settings. The class will instruct and engage students in a range of strategies, materials and techniques for teaching artists, including poster & graphic design; text & typography; animation, claymation & stop action; 3-D digital techniques; digital photography; filmmaking & video collage; music, audio & sound effects; and creative social media content creation strategies.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: MA required, MFA or PhD preferred; relevant professional experience</p> <p>Salary: Annual Salary Range $68,247-$192,040.
