<p>Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a caregiver for our Adventure Club at Willow Ridge Elementary for the morning shift. This part-time position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is passionate about fostering a fun and safe environment for exploration and learning. This position is Monday through Friday; 7:00 am until 8:40 am and 3:40 pm until 6:00 pm. The caregiver will support the Adventure Club's mission to provide engaging activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical activity among students.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and engage with children during Adventure Club activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. </li><li>Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and outdoor activities that encourage teamwork and personal growth. </li><li>Assist in setting up and cleaning up activity areas before and after sessions. </li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging participation from all children. </li><li>Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff regarding daily activities and any concerns. </li><li>Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance and support as needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate attendance records and report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities. </li><li>Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; experience working with children preferred. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and some evenings. </li><li>First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain. </li><li>Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies as needed. </li><li>Background check clearance prior to employment. </li></ul>
