As a Project Manager for OpenText's LegalTech team, you will lead client engagements from kickoff to billing, ensuring seamless execution and strategic outcomes. In this high-impact role, you will work with law firms, corporate legal departments, and review partners to bring clarity, precision, and excellence to every phase of the eDiscovery lifecycle.</p> <p>This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, values client relationships, and enjoys collaborating across teams to make a real difference in the legal tech space.</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>Lead strategic client engagements: act as the primary consultant for assigned matters, guiding projects from initial proposal through final invoicing while delivering outstanding service and value.</p> <p>Deliver client-centric solutions: consult with clients to understand goals, propose effective workflows, and proactively manage challenges. Build trust through responsiveness, insight, and consistency.</p> <p>Collaborate across teams: partner with internal departments, corporate legal teams, and law firms to align efforts, ensure quality, and meet case-specific objectives.</p> <p>Manage end-to-end discovery tasks: oversee technical workflows including data processing, user and case setup, and production execution to support client deadlines and goals.</p> <p>Contribute to team success: support unassigned or escalated projects when needed. Maintain thorough documentation of project activity, custom workflows, and client communications.</p> <p>Drive innovation and efficiency: identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical or procedural solutions that enhance service quality and delivery speed.</p> <p>Maintain financial accountability: track and bill consulting time accurately. Ensure fee structures and estimates are clear at the outset and aligned throughout an engagement.</p> <p>What The Role Offers</p> <p>You are highly organized and detail oriented. You have the ability to balance multiple complex projects without losing track of deliverables, deadlines, or dependencies.</p> <p>You are intellectually curious and thrive on solving complex problems with precision and creativity.</p> <p>You communicate clearly, whether you are guiding a client, coaching a team member, or breaking down technical concepts.</p> <p>You build trust quickly and foster strong relationships across departments and with clients.</p> <p>You stay cool under pressure and adapt quickly in fast-paced, evolving environments.</p> <p>You take initiative, follow through, and always aim to deliver exceptional results.</p> <p>What You Need to Succeed</p> <p>Five or more years in eDiscovery, litigation support, or legal consulting roles, with a strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle, the EDRM, and TAR/CAL workflows.</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; JD, MBA, or advanced degree a plus.</p> <p>Proven experience managing complex projects and delivering client-facing services in deadline-driven environments.</p> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to legal and non-technical audiences.</p> <p>Familiarity with the evolving role of artificial intelligence in eDiscovery.</p> <p>Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients.</p> <p>Experience with OpenText eDiscovery (formerly Axcelerate) is a strong plus.</p> <p>Role Challenges and Special Working Conditions</p> <p>Requirements may dictate the necessity to work hours outside of normal, 40-hour workweek.</p> <p>While not frequent, some travel throughout the US may be required.</p> <p>One Last Thing:</p> <p>OpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.</p> <p>Join us in our mission to drive positive change through privacy, technology, and collaboration.
