This is a hands-on role with responsibility spanning financial modeling, diligence, execution support, sector research, and ongoing portfolio management, offering meaningful exposure as the platform continues to grow.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead detailed financial modeling and support third-party diligence coordination. </li><li>Track emerging sector trends across power, transportation, energy, digital, and utility infrastructure </li><li>Prepare screening memos, valuation views, and market research. </li><li>Prepare Investment Committee materials and maintain data rooms. </li><li>Support transaction documentation and negotiation under senior guidance. </li><li>Assist with KPI dashboards, valuation files, and quarterly asset reporting. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally and assist with capital-raising materials. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required, with Business or Finance preferred. </li><li>3-5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking or private equity </li><li>Experience in analyzing financial statements and conducting due diligence </li><li>Advanced financial modeling skills </li><li>Familiarity with sectors such as energy transition, digital infra, transportation, and utility infrastructure </li><li>Project-finance modeling experience and infrastructure-specific metrics. </li><li>Strong IC writing and presentation skills. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CFA/CAIA progress a plus </li><li>Exposure to refinancings, bolt-ons, or asset-level KPIs. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills; interact with members of senior management, executives and line staff in a positive and collegial manner </li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills </li><li>Ability to operate autonomously with transparency and integrity </li><li>Solutions focused mindset; creative </li></ul> <p>#LI-CM2</p> <p>Base Salary Range: $120,000- $150,000 plus additional incentives</p> <p>Requisite Skills</p> <p>Acquisitions, Due Diligence, Financial Modeling, Private Equity</p> <p>Additional Skills</p> <p>Barings is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; Minority/Female/Age/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Individual with Disability/Protected Veteran.
