<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job FamilyFAC - Part-Time Faculty, Credit ClassesGradeP1Salary$54.37 - Base RateDepartmentHealth SciencesReports ToDepartment Chairperson, Health Sciences Closing DatePosted on an ongoing basisFLSA StatusExempt - Not Eligible for Overtime CompensationFirst Review DateOctober 6, 2025</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>This Adjunct faculty member provides instruction primarily in Pharmacy Technician courses and other related areas given appropriate credentials.</p> <p>Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Teaches in lecture, laboratory and/or clinical settings </li><li>Plans and organizes instructional materials to meet course objectives </li><li>Participates in curriculum development and revision that stress innovation and multicultural emphasis </li><li>Evaluates and advises students </li><li>Participates in departmental and College affairs </li><li>Develops curricula </li><li>Teaches both, evening and weekend classes as needed </li><li>Recruits students </li><li>Serves on committees </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree and a Valid State of Florida Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician licensure/registration and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician </li><li>All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution </li><li>Possess excellent communication skills </li><li>Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community </li><li>Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites </li><li>Must possess basic computer skills </li><li>Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working nights and weekends </li><li>Must be able to work effectively in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment </li></ul> <p>Preferences</p> <ul> <li>For best consideration upload your unofficial transcripts along with cover letter and resume.
