<p>Type:Full TimeSalary/Pay Rate:$45,000-$60,000/yearPosted Date:04/08/2025</p> <p>Finance</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Assist in the development, coordination and implementation of special projects for the Division of Finance including, but not limited to, training, orientation, employee relations, financial procedures and collection of revenue. Incumbent works closely with the Accounting & Special Projects Supervisor to establish and obtain project goals.</p> <p>The position will also perform a variety of project and administrative duties, including disseminating project information to stakeholders, monitoring the achievement of activities, developing and maintaining project deliverables on behalf of and under the direction of the Accounting and Special Projects Supervisor and the Director of Fiscal Operations. Own and supervise special projects as assigned by the Accounting and Special Projects Supervisor or their supervisors, including financial analysis and research. Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents related to the project. Complete activities related to project management disciplines and create financial reports and reports related to project management.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Review grants quarterly reports for signature of the Director of Fiscal Operations for paper reports or submission by the Accounting and Special Projects Supervisor for SAGE or online reports</p> </li><li> <p>Investigate / identify incoming wires and checks for grant funds</p> </li><li> <p>Process and approve Grants Payment vouchers</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the processing of General Journal Entries for transfers of expenses.</p> </li><li> <p>Preparation of various related resolutions for Commissioner approval.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a liaison with all departments and outside organizations regarding select current and future project implementation as they pertain to grants</p> </li><li> <p>Indirect Cost Allocation data collection from County divisions</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>This position requires an associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or another related field. May substitute two years' related experience in a government finance office. </li><li>Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Word and Excel. </li><li>Must be able to navigate the internet to find work-related information. </li><li>This position must also have good typing, composition, proofreading, and basic math skills. </li><li>Must be detail oriented and must be able to meet deadlines. </li><li>Must also have good organizational skills to manage the varied responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge of Government accounting regulations and procedures.</p>
