<p>Job Title: Run Coach</p> <p>Department: Fitness/Operations</p> <p>Reports to: Fitness Director</p> <p>Job Type: Hourly</p> <p>The Skaneateles Community Center Fitness team is looking for a Run Coach. The Run Coach is responsible for designing, delivering, and supervising safe and effective running training programs for individuals or groups. The coach supports athletes in improving performance, endurance, technique, and overall fitness while promoting injury prevention, motivation, and long-term athlete development.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities Included:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design individualized and group running training plans based on athlete goals, fitness levels, and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Lead structured running sessions, workouts, drills, and conditioning activities</p> </li><li> <p>Provide instruction on running mechanics, pacing, breathing, and race strategy</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor athlete progress and adjust training plans as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Promote injury prevention through proper warm-ups, cool-downs, and recovery practices</p> </li><li> <p>Offer motivation, accountability, and constructive feedback to athletes</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure a safe training environment and adherence to health and safety guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate regularly with athletes regarding schedules, expectations, and progress</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay for this position would be 50% commission based on Run coaches' certifications, experience and credentials.</p> <p>We are looking to hire ASAP</p>
