<p>Location: Blythewood, SC</p> <p>Department: Protective Packaging</p> <p>Reports To: Manufacturing Manager/Department Supervisor</p> <p>FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the production facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production flow, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform cycle counts in designated areas including Curby, Prefold, and Lemu. </li><li>Move finished goods from protective packaging to the shipping area, including wrapping pallets for transport. </li><li>Transport raw materials to production lines as needed. </li><li>Operate a clamp truck and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. </li><li>Maintain the sustainability area by: - Making bales of recyclable materials. - Separating good vs. bad cores. - Keeping accurate records of recycling numbers. </li><li>Support general housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area. </li><li>Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. </li><li>Stage materials for production according to work orders and schedules. </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies. </li><li>Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of material movements using ERP or warehouse management systems. </li><li>Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve material-related issues. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. </li><li>Forklift and clamp truck certification are preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Manufacturing floor and warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Use of PPE required (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots).</p>
