They will work with the Principal, Intervention Teacher, and Classroom Teachers to assess and identify students, then develop and implement a plan to insure an effective and positive learning experience for students.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide instruction and academic assistance to the students, keeping them on track and focused. </li><li>Monitor student achievement to determine skill level that will allow them to have success in the classroom. </li><li>Participate in professional learning around effective intervention. </li><li>Effectively utilize positive and constructive classroom/small group management. </li><li>Collaborate with the building intervention team, as part of the RtI model. </li><li>Participate in school meetings, assemblies, programs and school events. </li><li>Perform various clerical duties, such as data entry and other duties as assigned by the building principal. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA or Associates degree in Educational Assistance and teacher certification preferred; related work experience preferred. Intervention training will be provided. </li><li>Must have communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff and parents. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>School Year Only</p> <p>7.5 hours/day Monday - Friday</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Level II $15.13 - $17.71 per hour</p> <p>Replacement Position</p> <p>Once the posting deadline date has been met (if applicable), the supervisor/principal will review applications and schedule interviews with the most qualified candidates.
