The school system educates over 6,300 students in 10 schools, including a pre-K-1st grade school, 4 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 2 high schools. More information about CPS can be found on our website at www.chelseaschools.com/cps.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work with the ELL Coordinator to administer language assessments for the district. </li><li>Communicate the role of the ELL program to students and their families as well as support the intake process for schools. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>DESE licensed ESL/ELL teacher, multilingual, with experience in language acquisition; </li><li>Proficiency in an additional language preferred; </li><li>U.S. citizen or work permit required. </li></ul> <p>Terms:</p> <p>This is a non-union position. The work day is 19 hours of a regular school hours based on student registration needs, schedule to be determined with Supervisor. Peak times are in the summer from July- September. Non-licensed teacher $30.00/hr.; Licensed teachers $35/hr.
