With a rich history spanning over 130 years, Boart Longyear is committed to delivering excellence in safety, drilling services, and technology.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Boart Longyear team in Salt Lake City, Utah.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work safely without presenting direct threat to self or others</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and manage travel and service schedules for TSG team.</p> </li><li> <p>Be self-motivated, and have a desire to become a team leader</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnose hydraulic problems in equipment and perform quick turnaround repair time</p> </li><li> <p>Have a high level of skill in the care and use of hand and power tools, at times to be manipulated in areas of limited space</p> </li><li> <p>Work in adverse weather conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with supervisor and safety personnel with little to no supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Eager to learn</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>2-3 years of mechanic experience</p> </li><li> <p>2-3 years of team management experience</p> </li><li> <p>Hydraulic systems experience</p> </li><li> <p>Electrical experience (Certification is a plus)</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to lift 50 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Have a valid driver's license</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation, Benefits and Perks</p> <p>Talented people are attracted to companies with long-term success and a supportive workplace culture that encourages work-life balance.
