<p>This is professional leadership and supervisory work in deploying and managing complex Audio Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT) systems. The City of Madison IT Department will provide IT advice and support to assist Monona Terrace and this position. This role performs budgetary and purchasing responsibilities for the Monona Terrace AV department. This position requires considerable judgement and ability to make decisions independently. This position is also project manager for technology installations at Monona Terrace and provides general supervision for Monona Terrace Technical Services Specialists and part-time stagehands.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>$83,478.98 - $100,326.72 Annually</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Manage two fulltime Technical Services Specialists and part time staff members. Assist with management of day-to-day AV operations. Setup and maintain Audio Visual Equipment rental contracts. Develop short- and long-term plans to meet client technology needs. Oversee and maintain inventory of AV/IT equipment. Work with clients to provide custom AV solutions. Attend bi-weekly Management Meetings.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the setup and/or installation, repair, and operation of audio/visual, electronic, computer, and related equipment which includes at least two (2) years of leadership experience. </li></ul> <p>Or</p> <ul> <li>An Associate's degree or higher in computer science or a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience in the setup and/or installation, repair, and operation of audio/visual, electronic, computer, and related equipment. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Interested candidates can apply online at the City of Madison website.
