In our Neuro-Ophthalmology clinic, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients-from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a clinic environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate patient flow from check-in to check-out </li><li>Collect insurance verifications and payments </li><li>Schedule new consultations, follow-up visits, and surgeries </li><li>Complete referral forms and obtain authorizations for services </li><li>Answer a heavy phone line </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $26.42-37.49 Hourly</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in scheduling tests and surgeries. </li><li>Experience working with various insurances, and prior authorization process. </li><li>Ability to work efficiently and calmly under occasional high-pressure situations or deadlines. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with patients, physicians, medical professionals, and co-workers. </li><li>Skill in working independently with accuracy and ability to follow instructions with minimal direction. </li><li>Skill in prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines and ability to determine which duties may require immediate attention. </li><li>Ability to work with frequent interruptions and manage several duties at once in an efficient manner. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in an Ophthalmology practice. </li></ul>
