<p>Position: Warehouse Lead</p> <p>Available Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, onsite</p> <p>Compensation: $22.00 per hour, bi-weekly pay, benefits package</p> <p>Core Responsibilities & Duties:</p> <p>Job Duties (not limited to the list below)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Each employee is expected to communicate with their team in a respectful and professional manner; exhibit mature behavior in dealing with challenging situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Support and implement the company's initiatives to promote positive employee morale and team building.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for enforcing warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of Cal OSHA and state regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide direction and motivation to the floor team in order to promote efficiency, quality and accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold employee handbook policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Helps monitor warehouse overtime.</p> </li><li> <p>Helps ensure the team has proper tools to execute their job duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and help drive departmental key performance indicators (KPI).</p> </li><li> <p>Helps convey maintenance of warehouse equipment/tools and all necessary repairs to the maintenance department.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Supervisor/Manager in distributing work to associates as required & needed to support workflow to meet daily production goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for assisting proper training to new hires and re-training on an as-needed basis in coordination with the company's SOP.</p> </li><li> <p>Highlight top & bottom performers to supervisors to provide recognition & training as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Fully understand the workflow, daily production goals, and number of associates present each day.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the team by example through work performance, can-do attitude & collaboration with teammates</p> </li><li> <p>Provide procedural feedback to Supervisor/Manager to improve our current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and communicate safety hazards or incidents to Supervisor/Management</p> </li><li> <p>Enthusiastically participate in safety initiatives & encourage the team to do the same</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements, Skills & Abilities include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Follows work-safe practices</p> </li><li> <p>Operates various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, hand held scanner, box cutter, picking cart, desktop computer, scale, shrink wrap and baler).</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to a safe work environment through continuous focus on housekeeping and safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate a commitment to our company's core values.</p> </li><li> <p>Interact with supervisors, leads, and/or work groups with information exchanges related to immediate tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing,</p> </li><li> <p>Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication)</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills (accessing and navigating the internet; familiar with the keyboard; opening, closing, and saving documents)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to push, pull, grasp, and fine manipulation of equipment using hands is ongoing throughout the work hours</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to bend and lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for the entire shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able and willing to frequently bend, squat, twist, push/pull to retrieve inventory and packing items throughout the shift</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day with extensive lifting and pushing of heavy product</p> </li><li> <p>Exhibited good job performance and behavior as measured through indicators such as teamwork, attendance, quality and productivity, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be flexible with scheduling; work overtime as business dictates.</p> </li></ul>
