<p>There is a Head Nurse Manager (NM) in the Acute Care Outpatient Division open at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center (Milwaukee VA) as the Nurse Manager for Oncology. The Nurse Manager (NM) is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the operations of their assigned units which are the Hematology/Oncology Clinic, Radiation Oncology Nurses, and Cancer Coordinator Nurses and provides coverage for other NMs as needed.</p> <p>The Acute Care Nurse Manager functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components.
