<p>Are you an experienced Finish Carpenter with a passion for craftsmanship and working on exciting, creative projects? Adena Lakeland, a leader in high-quality general contracting, is looking for a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. You'll work on unique themed construction projects at theme parks and our Creative Studio.</p> <p>Qualified applicants can apply in person at our location: 2725 S Combee Rd, Lakeland, FL 33803</p> <p>Resumes can be emailed to hr@adenacorporation.com</p> <ul> <li>Installation of temporary barricades to support on stage construction projects </li><li>Installation of Themed Show Elements and components </li><li>Show Elements could consist of wood, metal, FRP, GFRC, etc. </li><li>Installation of millwork, casework, running trim and other finish carpentry components </li><li>Lays out and installs in-wall blocking as required </li><li>Fabrication of Show Elements as required </li><li>Fabrication of Show Elements to be completed within the Creative Studio at Adena's Lakeland Campus </li><li>Installation activities will typically take place at Theme Parks or Amusement Parks </li><li>Installation activities may require 3rd shift work to meet client needs </li><li>Works with Scenic Team to support scenic finishes as required </li><li>Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment </li><li>Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed </li><li>Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters </li><li>Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware </li><li>Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals </li><li>Organize and work with the carpentry team to meet goals. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform carpenter duties </li><li>10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment </li><li>Ability to read building blueprints </li><li>Ability to utilize pertinent math skills </li><li>Good knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment along with safe use of the same </li><li>Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record </li><li>Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites </li><li>May be asked to travel for out-of-town projects </li><li>Ability to work at heights without fear including work on scaffolding and ladders </li><li>Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency </li><li>Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions </li><li>Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust• </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
