<p>The Senior Specialist, Field Training, helps bring our training to life across our field store teams. This role designs, delivers, and enhances learning experiences that drive performance, foster engagement, and support the company's business goals. The Senior Specialist, Field Training will ensure that our teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement field training strategies, programs, and materials aligned with business objectives </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners and field leadership, to design, review, and deliver effective training resources </li><li>Conduct training sessions and enhance training materials based on field input and evolving needs </li><li>Monitor training effectiveness, stay informed on industry trends, and identify new training opportunities </li><li>Maintain and update all store policies, procedures, and resources, ensuring consistency in branding </li><li>Identify, prioritize, and communicate updates to training documents and operational resources </li><li>Collaborate with partner-operated locations to coordinate grand opening training, identify post-opening training needs, and deliver "train the trainer" sessions </li><li>Collect and evaluate feedback from trainers and partner-operated teams </li><li>Develop and deliver product guides, sales planning resources, and "Best Play" communications to support field execution and drive business results </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree or relevant experience </li><li>1-3 years creating field training or facilitating field training (preferably retail stores) </li><li>Proficient planning and organizational skills </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>Additional training certifications </li><li>1-3 years corporate-level experience creating and delivering retail training </li></ul> <p>Behavioral Traits for Success:</p> <ul> <li>An analytical, inquiring, and critical mind that solves complex problems </li><li>A knack for anticipating potential issues </li><li>Strong commitment to tasks being completed and on time </li><li>Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment </li><li>Comfortable making decisions in area of expertise </li><li>Communication style is factual and sincere </li><li>Willingness to follow established policies, processes, and procedures </li><li>Enjoys working at a faster-than-average pace </li><li>Strives for continuous improvement </li><li>Able to manage multiple priorities </li></ul> <p>Working Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs </li><li>Hybrid work schedule </li><li>Domestic travel up to 15% </li></ul> <p>Your Performance Will be Measured On:</p> <p>Your ability to achieve annual department objectives and corporate goals which include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Effective execution of brand standards and company initiatives </li><li>Embodying Build-A-Bear's core values </li><li>Communication </li><li>Decision-making, judgment, and execution </li><li>Organization and attention-to-detail </li><li>Use of tools and resources </li><li>Ability to foster team collaboration, communication, and performance </li><li>Time management and prioritization </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines, ensuring accuracy and quality of work </li><li>Promotes teamwork, open communication, and high performance to achieve shared goals </li><li>Stakeholder feedback </li></ul> <p>This description is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all functions, responsibilities, skills, and abilities.
