Our comprehensive range of products and services covers every link of the integrated supply chain - from maritime and inland terminals to marine services and industrial parks as well as technology-driven customer solutions.</p> <p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage procurement pricing inputs for business opportunity RFQs, RFPs, RFI's etc., for contract logistics services across the Americas Region </li><li>Analyze and review bid submissions, benchmark pricing, and develop cost models to support strategic sourcing decisions </li><li>Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to validate pricing structures and identify cost-saving opportunities </li><li>Maintain a database of historical bid data and market trends to support future negotiations </li><li>Support logistics and procurement projects from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals </li><li>Host project calls and provide detailed project status updates to key stakeholders and leadership </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance and procurement teams to support new business launches </li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives for bids and projects </li><li>Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external providers to resolve issues and align expectations </li><li>Travel to new business launch sites, set up and maintain purchasing processes/functions until permanent position is filled, trained and functioning </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in Purchasing or a related field </li><li>Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, materials or related major preferred </li><li>Knowledge of purchasing processes, researching vendors and service providers </li><li>Strong Negotiation skills to reach best price and conditions </li><li>Knowledge and experience with the SAP business data base </li><li>Knowledge of business processes and accounting practices </li><li>Ability to train and instruct other purchasing professionals </li></ul> <p>Please note: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
