<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Set-up bar by collecting appropriate amounts of stock (i.e. beer, wine, etc.) and supplies (i.e. glassware, straws, accessories, etc.) for bar function. </li><li>Breakdown bar by inventorying remaining product and return all leftover product and supplies to appropriate areas. </li><li>Take beverage orders from guests, make them according to departmental standards, and deliver to guest in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. </li><li>Input and ring-up charges for guest's orders using the POS system. Create a check for each transaction, make and return any change as needed. </li><li>Maintain proper and adequate set-up of all areas of bar on a daily basis including before, after, and during shift. Refill chemicals, hand soap containers, etc. Refill ice and beer bins, utilizing ice making machines. </li><li>Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction. Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation. </li><li>Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Ability of complex math and simple reading, writing, and task completion skills is required. </li><li>Must have the following skills: coordination, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making. </li><li>Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. </li><li>Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Minimum one year experience as a bartender or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMAND</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, kneeling, walking, reaching, twisting, grasping, lifting, listening, using computer, telephone, and speaking. </li><li>Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing, typing on computer keyboard. </li><li>Frequently carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to maintain appropriate Alcohol Awareness card. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, and occasionally crouching during the duration of their shift. • Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 50lbs or less frequently. </li><li>The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet. Team member will constantly have repetitive use of their dominant hand, occasional use of their non-dominant hand, and frequent light grasping motions. Team member will have occasional use of firm/strong grasping motion. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required. </li><li>Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. </li><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts in possible confined areas around computer equipment and other electrical devices. </li><li>Team Member may be around flame/heat generated devices. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. </li><li>Team Member may be exposed to vibrations, slippery surfaces, odor and/or secondhand smoke. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li></ul>
