<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Develops process drawings, sales proposal drawings, tooling prints and updates the MRP</p> <p>system for new product.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities</p> <p>Development of process prints, sales proposal drawings, plant lay outs and tooling prints;</p> <p>updates engineering changes.</p> <p>Scheduling and completion of print review meetings as part of new part development.</p> <p>Update tooling requirements in QAD based on process prints.</p> <p>Measurements</p> <p>Timely completion and accuracy of new parts, sales proposal drawings and engineering</p> <p>changes.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Action Oriented: Motivated and enjoys his/her work.</p> <p>Adaptability/Flexibility: Ability to effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably</p> <p>Communication: Ability to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts and information to different listeners/audiences</p> <p>Customer Service: Customer Service orientation is focusing one's efforts on discovering and</p> <p>meeting the customer's needs. Involves understanding team</p> <p>dynamics, fostering collaboration, providing a tangible contribution and</p> <p>listening and responding to the input of others in a manner that creates</p> <p>an environment of mutual trust and respect.</p> <p>Required Education/Experience</p> <ol> <li> <p>Post High School education or training in engineering sciences - Mechanical, Industrial and Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.</p> </li><li> <p>One to three years experience in engineering and /or manufacturing discipline.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with CAD systems such as Pro-E, AutoCAD or Intergraph.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills</p> </li></ol> <p>Desirable Education and Experience</p> <ol> <li> <p>Knowledge of fastener manufacturing equipment and processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Six Sigma Processes, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen techniques.</p> </li></ol>
