<p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Support the monthly SIOP process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.</p> <p>Assist with capacity planning activities, including labor and machine capacity analysis.</p> <p>Analyze demand trends, backlog, and inventory levels to support planning decisions.</p> <p>Help develop and document SIOP standard work, dashboards, and planning tools.</p> <p>Partner with cross-functional teams to align demand and supply plans.</p> <p>Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and inventory optimization.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</p> <p>Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.</p> <p>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.</p> <p>Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Exposure to SIOP, demand planning, capacity planning, or production planning concepts through coursework or projects.</p> <p>Basic understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization principles.</p> <p>Experience working with ERP or planning systems (academic or internship experience).</p> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.</p> <p>Barnes Aerospace may offer a one-time housing or relocation stipend to eligible interns based on the distance between their permanent residence, school, and assigned work location.</p>
