<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Inventory & Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of material procurement, inventory control, warehouse organization, and fleet coordination. This role ensures that our service teams are fully equipped with the right materials, tools, and vehicles to operate efficiently, safely, and on schedule.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and hands on comfortable sorting truck inventory, stocking materials in the warehouse, or delivering parts to technicians at a job site when needed. They must also be proficient with technology to track inventory, purchasing, and fleet operations, while maintaining strong communication with vendors and internal teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Procurement & Vendor Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Source, order, and receive materials, parts, and equipment from approved vendors.</p> </li><li> <p>Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; negotiate pricing and terms to secure cost-effective purchases.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.</p> </li></ul> <p>Inventory Control & Warehouse Operations</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain optimal stock levels to support service and project needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine truck and warehouse inventory checks; investigate and reconcile discrepancies.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and maintain warehouse operations to ensure safe and efficient storage of materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Distribute materials to service trucks and job sites as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Track material usage in company software to support accurate job costing and reporting.</p> </li></ul> <p>Fleet & Equipment Oversight</p> <ul> <li> <p>Track and schedule repairs, maintenance, and inspections for the company fleet.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize Azuga for fleet tracking and maintenance coordination.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage company tools and equipment, ensuring they are serviced, repaired, and ready for use.</p> </li></ul> <p>Technology & Reporting</p> <ul> <li> <p>Use ServiceTitan, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft tools to track inventory, purchase orders, fleet data, and material usage.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate and maintain accurate records of purchases, stock levels, and fleet activity.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide reports for management to support budgeting and operational planning.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Collaboration & Team Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager, and service teams to anticipate material and fleet needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Support technicians by delivering materials to job sites when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate clearly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Safety</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure adherence to company safety policies and proper material handling procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or warehouse operations (construction or plumbing preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Service Titan, and fleet management tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable with hands-on tasks such as stocking, loading, and making deliveries.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and vehicle maintenance is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical & Work Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and climbing in and out of service vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable spending long periods on your feet.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with a lunch break).</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. </li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and advancement. </li><li>A collaborative, supportive work environment. </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package: </li><li>Medical Insurance choice of 2 HDHP's with HRA & HSA or PPO - 1 HDHP option has 100% of employee premiums covered by employer </li><li>Dental and Vision Insurance </li><li>Company provided Life and Disability Insurance </li><li>401(k) with Employer Match </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Paid Time Off , Paid Holidays </li></ul> <p>Pre-Employment Requirements & EEO Statement</p> <p>Employees must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
