To learn more about Hexagon Agility, please visit our website at www.hexagonagility.com.</p> <p>Seeking a Field Service Technician for CNG and LNG vehicle fuel systems.</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>Field Service Technicians are responsible for an assigned key territory in addition to traveling to end users, dealerships, OEM's, and our facilities nationwide to resolve customer issues. Must be able to work unsupervised in remote locations for extended overnight periods as necessary.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Follow company and customer safety policies, quality and production procedures </li><li>Provide exceptional customer service and technical support of products </li><li>Manage all installs, removal, modification, repair, maintenance, test, and inspection tasks </li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical or technical problems and determine proper solutions </li><li>Respond to service requests, providing technical service and maintenance support at assigned customer locations in and out of local territory </li><li>Utilize vehicles, tools and equipment while following operating instructions and adhering to safety standards </li><li>Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals </li><li>Work safely with high pressure systems up to 5,000 psi </li><li>Lead field service repair teams during recalls and campaigns </li><li>Represent as POC at customer locations, help drive service sales, build relationships </li><li>Evaluate situations and determine the best way to proceed as well as keeping the customers informed of progress and status of the repairs and progress </li><li>Communicate and interact with customers and staff across multiple departments in a positive, courteous and professional manner to earn long-term relationships </li><li>Develop a thorough understanding of Agility's products and all other makes </li><li>Complete and submit all paperwork/digital forms and reports in a timely fashion </li><li>Maintain current working knowledge of local and national codes where applicable </li><li>Capture Voice of Customer data whenever possible to help improve products/processes </li><li>Up to 100% travel with the ability to leave on short notice to meet customer expectations </li><li>Manage/maintain vehicle and on-board inventory organization, audits, and transport tasks </li><li>Assist with shipping parts from assigned mobile inventory to customers as needed </li></ul> <p>Skills and qualifications</p> <ul> <li>SAE automotive certification or equivalent technical training is a plus </li><li>2+ years of work experience on Hexagon Agility, CCFT (Momentum), A1 Alt Fuels and or other natural gas vehicle fuel systems; removing and replacing complete systems/individual components, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, upgrades and retrofits </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems </li><li>Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written </li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills to maximize effectiveness </li><li>Proficient working with Concur, IFS, Freshdesk and Microsoft Teams is a plus </li><li>Computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook </li><li>Positive attitude, works well with peers and support groups </li><li>Must provide your own tools (required tools list to be provided) </li><li>Must have experience/ability to read and understand engineering drawings </li><li>Must have experience/ability to read and understand electrical schematics </li><li>Must have a valid driver license, clean criminal background/driving record </li><li>Experience/ability to bend stainless steel tubing and replicate hard lines in the field </li><li>Ability to safely depressurize and defuel CNG and LNG fuel systems </li><li>Cummins Insite, BlueiQ, Swagelok, forklift, fall protection, LO/TO training certificates </li><li>NGVi (AFVi) or CSA tank inspector & Hexagon tank certifications </li><li>Experience conducting CNG tank repairs and proper condemnation </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
