Ensures all equipment and supplies are kept clean and in working condition. Supervises staff by assigning work, training, hiring, evaluating performance, administering progressive discipline, and recommending termination as appropriate. Creates and reviews schedules, approving scheduling requests to ensure adequate coverage. Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices, ensuring compliance with State/Federal regulations and standards. Resolves patient satisfaction concerns in a timely manner. Monitors and replenishes supplies as needed. Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors. Reviews and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with JCAHO, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards. Manages reporting logs in the department, including Attendance, Hazardous Materials Monthly inspections, and Hazardous Books compliance. Coordinates the ATP-GEL process and compliance, reporting inspections to leadership to ensure staff notification and training, if applicable.
