The focus is typically on medium to large projects, performing workflow analysis, build, and documentation in collaboration with internal and external team members.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Designs, builds and implements assignments/projects and software programs. </li><li>Based on core knowledge of application and operational requirements can translate requirement/concepts into functionality. </li><li>May initiate, facilitate or lead meetings with end-user/business owner/department leadership. Provides orientation of the EMR with new hires and understands the ambulatory physician workflow and environment. </li><li>Ability to work independently, and participate in team projects </li><li>Ability to translate customer requirements into deliverables </li><li>Demonstrates an ability to successfully complete assigned tasks/assignments, track issues and provide solution-oriented escalation while mitigating risk </li><li>Understands project management methodologies </li><li>Demonstrates collaboration across teams </li><li>Escalates issues as appropriate </li><li>Assists with re-engineering of operational work-flow processes, incorporates system specifications and configuration requirements with end-users/business owners and maintains working level understanding of assigned departmental operations </li><li>Demonstrates technical proficiency </li><li>Manages navigation of migration paths, change control process/governance, and ticket management processes </li><li>Provides high-level understanding of design integration and touch points with other Epic modules and/or other applications. Represents application team on work groups within the department or within project scope </li><li>Attends and represents workplace on various Epic related committees. </li><li>Maintains high quality design, build, testing, and roll-out; ensures documentation is provided for support and training </li><li>Manages and coordinates intermediate-advanced configuration, design and builds in collaboration with others </li><li>As needed, participates in new employee interviews and the on-boarding process and training with new team members </li><li>Provides on-call support during off hours </li><li>May also be responsible for portions of hardware management and trouble-shooting in case of absences </li></ul> <p>EDCUATIONAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training is required.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>EpicCare Ambulatory Certification preferred within 12 months of hire. Previous experience with Cadence, Ochin Wisdom, Dentrix, Grand Central and Behavioral Health is a plus.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Requires 2-4 years of relevant healthcare setting experience. Experience working with healthcare information management systems and/or clinical operations experience and project management experience is preferred. Experienced with multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrates initiative and pro-activeness in work.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, and CPT coding guidelines </li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology </li><li>Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement guidelines </li><li>Knowledge with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) coding guidelines </li><li>Ability to research and analyze data, draw conclusions, and resolve issues </li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, laws, and regulations </li><li>Ability to read and interpret medical procedures and terminology </li><li>Ability to prepare reports and related documents </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality </li></ul> <p>AA/EOE</p> <p>Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 am to 05:00 pm</p> <p>40 hours per week</p>
