<p>Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control. The Project Manager provides technical direction and ensures compliance with quality standards. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the project.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversees the construction project from start to finish. </li><li>Performs a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed. </li><li>Performs project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project. </li><li>Ensures that construction activities move according to predetermined schedules. </li><li>Devises the project work plans and makes revisions as and when needs arise. </li><li>Communicates effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project. </li><li>Coordinates the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include, but are not limited to, the Clerk of the Works, architects, consultants, and contractors. </li><li>Monitors the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and holds regular status meetings with the affected parties. </li><li>Presents reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions. </li><li>Maintains strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards. </li><li>Performs periodic inspections of construction sites. </li><li>Ensures project documents are completed. </li><li>Identifies the elements of the project design and construction that is likely to give rise to disputes and claims. </li><li>Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project objectives. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:</p> <ul> <li>Project Management experience. </li></ul> <p>Owens Realty Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
