This position requires someone who can collaborate with peers, parents, and school district staff. He/she will be a solid team player, who takes initiative, can work independently and is flexible.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>PT assessments and evaluations </li><li>Developing treatment plans </li><li>Consulting with classroom staff and parents </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree required if program of study was completed after December 31, 2002 </li><li>Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local special education practices and laws as related to school-based Physical Therapy </li><li>Current Pennsylvania license in physical therapy </li><li>Pediatric and/or school based experience, preferred </li></ul> <p>Terms of Employment:</p> <p>Full-time, 190 days</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>LIUEA Pay Scale (As of 7/1/2025 Bach. min $59,172.22, Mast. min (up to 44 credits) $63,672.22) plus excellent benefits*</p> <ul> <li>The LIU offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, including: </li><li>Medical (for a nominal premium), dental and vision insurance. Dental & Vision are at no cost to the employee </li><li>All full-time professional staff receive a $45,000 life insurance policy, at no cost to the employee. </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP). For any employees and eligible dependents. You have the opportunity for 3 free counseling sessions per year, per person. </li><li>Short-term Disability </li><li>Long-term Disability </li><li>Public School Employees Retirement System (PSERS) </li><li>Full-time employees who are scheduled for 188 days/year receive 10 sick days and 3 personal days. If hired after the start of any year, the leave is prorated. </li><li>Access to the Lincoln Health and Wellness Center. It is available to employees and their family members (2 years & older) enrolled in the LIU medical plan. There are no copays and/or deductibles for services provided at our health centers.
