Here, we don't just work together-we thrive together, confidently united by the shared values that define us as ZEMA Global.</p> <p>Job overview</p> <p>The People Business Partner will lead and direct the routine functions of the People Team including employee relations, recruiting, executing on our compensation philosophy, benefits and leave, and updating and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will provide people business support and guidance to the people leaders and focus on making a positive impact on the company culture. The role will lead the implementation of global people projects across multiple geographies and time zones. The People Business Partner will analyze trends in human resources and propose programs and initiatives to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. This role will work closely with the VP, People and Culture, who is based in the US, and with stakeholders in India, Canada, UK and EU region.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Build relationships with people leaders and team members to support people & culture initiatives. </li><li>Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. </li><li>Provide support and guidance to the people leaders when complex and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. </li><li>Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs. </li><li>Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. </li><li>Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations. </li><li>Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review polices and practices to maintain compliance. </li><li>Gather and provide data analytics and insights to the team to help drive the People Strategy. This could be exit interview data, engagement scores, and Bamboo demographic reports. </li><li>Perform additional People Business Partner duties as needed and assigned. </li></ul> <p>Candidate Requirements</p> <p>Essential</p> <ul> <li>Five plus years of HR experience required. </li><li>An independent worker who is self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to multi-task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities. </li><li>Maintain a high degree of confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Desirable</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of Indian employment law and HR best practices. </li><li>Business acumen, along with relevant experience in compensation practices. </li></ul> <p>At Zema, we're all about creating equal opportunities for everyone-no matter your background, abilities, or experiences.
