<p>1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM</p> <p>The Maintenance Planner will work on modifications of processing, packaging and facility equipment with optimal quality and efficiency.</p> <p>Job Function Statements - Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provide support to Process Improvement (PI) projects and participate on safety teams </li><li>Coordinate all maintenance activities </li><li>Maintain Preventive Maintenance program </li><li>Properly communicate with Production and Maintenance Departments </li><li>Keep good records of KPI and Goals </li><li>Keep track of Work Orders and re-route them properly </li><li>Work closely with Inventory stock operation </li><li>Maintain Data for equipment </li><li>Lead Improvement projects </li><li>Manage PM cycle and update if necessary </li><li>Plan and coordinate parts availability for planned WO's with Inventory stock room </li><li>Monitor the entire maintenance process and improve as needed </li><li>Assist other sides and share best practices </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications/Skills:</p> <p>Physical Requirements: the employee is required to stand for extended periods of time (duration of the shift, 8 hours or more); walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; bend continuously, or crawl. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift and is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to push/pull/lift and/or move 50 pounds. The incumbent must operate light motorized equipment, hand, and power tools skillfully and safely.</p> <p>Work Environment: the employee is occasionally exposed to wet/cold conditions of 34 - 36 degrees and at times hot conditions; high, precarious places (ex: 25 feet above ground level for extended hours); and outside weather conditions (rooftop). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud, which may require hearing protection.</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance program </li><li>Required computer skills: MP2, D7i, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint </li><li>Good leadership skills </li><li>Familiarity with Inventory stock room operation </li></ul> <p>Other Desired Qualifications/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) </li><li>Good electrical and mechanical skills </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Required 5-10 years' experience in Maintenance field</p> <p>Education/Training:</p> <p>Minimum of a High School diploma/GED, some Technical School coursework, or Mechanical Certification (must have at least one of these three items to be considered)</p> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed, as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
