<p>POSITION TITLE: Program Manager - Family Stabilization</p> <p>LOCATION: Louisville, KY</p> <p>STATUS: Full Time, Salaried</p> <p>PROGRAM: VOA Home</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Housing Services</p> <p>INTRODUCTION:</p> <p>Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) is a non-profit organization spanning four states that creates positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. Will provide assessment and referral services for clients on a consistent basis. Oversight and management of The Chancery, HOPWA program, TBRA, and street outreach in the KIPDA and Lincoln Trail ADD.</p> <p>WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:</p> <ul> <li>Has Master of Social Work or a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field; a Bachelor of Social Work or related undergraduate degree with 10 years or more of related work experience; or a person with 13 years of experience in the field and no degree would qualify for this position. </li><li>Requires a demonstrated ability to provide a reasonable combination of the following knowledge, abilities and skills: family needs assessment, knowledge and ability to access local resources, advocacy, counseling, and working cooperatively with local service providers. Must have a commitment to the principles of the project </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high degree of organization, and creative problem-solving skills. </li><li>Must have a personal automobile, valid driver's license, liability insurance, and be willing and able to travel within the full-service area. </li><li>Must complete required case management and (Critical Time Intervention) CTI training within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide outreach in the local communities. </li><li>Provide staff supervision and training and conduct employee evaluations regularly </li><li>Assist in the preparation and maintenance of program budgets. </li><li>Conduct review of employee case files and hold weekly treatment team meetings. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all Grantor and VOA policies and procedures. </li><li>Provide property management for office space in which the program is housed. </li><li>Complete all documentation and reporting requirements accurately and in a timely manner (i.e. statistical reports, program reports, QAS, annual reports and strategic plans). </li><li>Maintain programs database and HMIS </li><li>Build relationships with all relevant agencies and service providers. </li><li>Continue developing new forms of community outreach and awareness. </li><li>Advocate for the Participants, integrating cultural values into their service needs. </li><li>Identify systemic barriers and communicates with organizational leadership about these barriers to work collaboratively to find viable solutions. </li><li>Maintain high level of integrity for program. </li><li>Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all Council on Accreditation program standards. </li><li>Perform external relations activities as needed. </li><li>Assist in maintaining program manuals, developing training manuals and policies as needed. </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p>
