<p>Job Title: Supervisor</p> <p>Department: Production</p> <p>Schedule: Sunday-Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am</p> <p>Facility location: Chester, CT</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Leads a project team or multiple smaller project teams or leads a functional team or unit in area of expertise.</p> <p>Prepares, monitors, and may be responsible for budget, staffing, and or business/operational results of a functional team or project.</p> <p>Directly manages individual contributors and may manage other supervisors or group leaders.</p> <p>Audits work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met.</p> <p>Maintains and updates production records and produces reports as necessary.</p> <p>Manages operation to maximize production of quality products and minimize cost.</p> <p>Trains and evaluates production employees.</p> <p>Scope:</p> <p>Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team</p> <p>Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors</p> <p>Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager</p> <p>Typically, does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised</p> <p>All Employees Shall:</p> <ul> <li>Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements </li><li>Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards </li><li>Attend scheduled EH&S training program </li><li>Actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans </li><li>Recommend improved EH&S practices </li></ul> <p>Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties.
