<p>Maintenance Lead - Castle Town Center</p> <p>Department: Maintenance</p> <p>FLSA/Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly</p> <p>Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00/hr - Depending on experience and other factors</p> <p>Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor</p> <p>Direct Reports: Maintenance Tech I - CTC</p> <p>Location: Wesley Willows Campus - Rockford, IL</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and safety compliance of the Castle Town Center. This role combines hands-on maintenance work, routine site surveys, and building system oversight with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. As a key point of contact for residents, staff, vendors, and visitors, the Maintenance Lead ensures that all maintenance services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and with a commitment to creating a positive experience for everyone who visits our campus.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the upkeep of the building, equipment, and resident living spaces by performing timely repairs and preventative maintenance, creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment that supports resident satisfaction and well-being. </li><li>Support the maintenance team by completing work orders and assisting with unit renovations, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently and with attention to quality to enhance the living experience for residents. </li><li>Maintain a preventative maintenance program for selected/identified equipment. </li><li>Coordinates apartment renovations and change orders with the Director of Facilities and Grounds. </li><li>Participates in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies. </li><li>Assists in the development of a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections. </li><li>Complete all other assignments/projects as directed by the Facilities Supervisor. </li><li>Maintain pools to the highest standards, including performing regular chemical checks, ensuring water quality and safety, and completing detailed daily logs all while supporting a clean, welcoming experience for guests and tenants. </li><li>Other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials:</p> <ul> <li>Prefer a minimum of three to five years experience in maintenance or general building maintenance. Experience with chillers, boilers and HVAC a plus. </li><li>Good interpersonal relations with proven communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Must possess extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and correct problems. </li><li>Must be able to assess, analyze, and provide appropriate input to the maintenance of the facility. </li><li>Must have a valid Drivers License. </li><li>Must be able to provide a valid Certified Pool Operator Certification or acquire one within six months of employment. </li><li>Must be committed to providing exceptional service by listening carefully to our customers' needs, responding promptly, and always striving to exceed expectations. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must have the ability to stand and walk for 6-7 hours of an 8-hour shift. </li><li>Must have the ability to frequently climb stairs, stools, and ladders. </li><li>Must have the ability to frequently stoop, bend and kneel. </li><li>Must have the ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds while walking or bending at the waist and knees. </li><li>Must have the ability to frequently push, pull, or move carts and equipment exerting a force of 50 to 75 pounds. </li><li>Must have the ability to use wrists, fingers, and hands for repetitive firm grasping and usage of hand tools. </li></ul> <p>Other regulated requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records. </li><li>Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine, and TB testing. </li><li>Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis. </li><li>Must be willing to undergo biometric screening. </li></ul> <p>Benefits we offer:</p> <ul> <li>PTO </li><li>403b - with employer match, after 6 months </li><li>Medical coverage with employer contribution </li><li>Employer-Paid Life Insurance </li><li>Dental and Vision </li><li>Variety of voluntary benefit elections </li><li>Reasonably priced meals </li><li>Employee referral bonus program </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Much More! </li></ul> <p>Wesley Willows and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Wesley Willows and its affiliates operates Drug & Alcohol-free campuses</p>
