<p>Kforce is partnering with a Saint Louis-based client that is seeking a Tax Associate to join their team.</p> <p>Summary: This role plays a key part in supporting the tax needs of client families, including the preparation of tax returns and related analyses. This role offers excellent culture, strong work/life balance year-round, strong benefits and bonus!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for a variety of entities, including pass-throughs, individuals, trusts, and private foundations </li><li>Develop quarterly tax projections by monitoring and analyzing taxable events using internal and external data </li><li>Support business consulting initiatives such as buy/sell and IRR analyses, net worth evaluations, and other accounting or tax-related projects </li><li>Assist in preparing materials and financial summaries for client review meetings* Degree in Accounting or Tax </li><li>CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification </li><li>Strong understanding of federal and state tax concepts with the ability to prepare and review returns </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Resourceful, adaptable, and maintain professionalism and executive presence </li></ul>
