<p>Who We Are</p> <p>STR Behavioral Health - Lehigh Valley is a premier substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorder outpatient program with a new location coming to Lehigh Valley, PA. For both substance use disorder and mental health clients, we will offer separate programs for each population. Our programs will include partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment (day and night programs), and outpatient care, all with the support of a psychiatric provider, licensed clinicians, and experienced professionals. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options as well as psychiatric medication management will be offered at all levels of care. Our programs are trauma-informed, individualized, and accredited by the Human Rights Campaign as a leader in providing LGBTQ+ services. This position assesses and prescribes appropriate medications as well as assess medical and psychiatric issues/ concerns and makes appropriate referrals. This position consults with treatment team on primary diagnosis and co-occurring issues.</p> <p>Relationships and Contacts</p> <p>Within the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout STR Behavioral Health and affiliated facilities.</p> <p>Outside the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining a safe and secure environment </li><li>Help Clients by providing information, services, and assistance </li><li>Prescribe Detoxification medication regimens that are safe, appropriate, and effective for clients with substance use disorder </li><li>Routine checkups and Medication checks for clients in services </li><li>Conducting follow up and evaluation of client physical and psychiatric conditions. </li><li>Prescribe medications as necessary and check on the efficacy of medication regimen </li><li>Document clinical, medical, and psychiatric treatments and recommendations </li><li>Pre-screen and approve potential clients by reviewing psych and medical records for admission </li><li>Order Lab work and UAs as needed </li><li>Complete Psychiatric Evaluations for every admitting client </li><li>Complete physical for every admitting client </li><li>Make referrals to specialist as needed </li><li>Order and administer Vivitrol as needed </li><li>Consult with the treatment team </li><li>Complete progress notes as needed </li><li>Support Nursing staff. </li></ul>
