<p>Contractor Service and Fabrication, Inc. is looking for an experienced Millwright to join our team. The Millwright will repair, maintain, and facilitate installation of industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations.</p> <p>Shift: Monday - Saturday 7:00AM - 4:30PM</p> <p>Duration - 5 months</p> <p>Per Diem Available for those who qualify (must provide proof of residency).</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment. </li><li>Uses hand tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines. </li><li>Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines. </li><li>Operates engine lathe to adjust machine parts to dimensional specifications. </li><li>Disassembles or dismantles machines. </li><li>Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints. </li><li>Troubleshoots and repairs machines including when unexpected issues arise. </li><li>Performs preventive maintenance makes repairs on older machines. </li><li>Provides advice and recommendations to management concerning new machinery. </li><li>Plans and facilitates installation of new or refurbished machinery, which may include building platforms and foundations. </li><li>Conducts safety inspections. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Laser Alignments is a must. </li><li>Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines, rules, and laws. </li><li>High school diploma required; vocational school or Associates degree in related field highly preferred. </li><li>At least two years of experience required; Millwright certification/apprenticeship preferred. </li><li>Must be able to read and communicate in English to understand technical documents, safety procedures, and instructions relevant to job duties. English proficiency is required due to operational and safety communication needs. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. </li><li>Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery. </li><li>Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines. </li></ul> <p>CSFCO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
