<p>This position will drive the standardization and enhancement of business processes, champion best practices, and establish meaningful performance metrics across our operations. Working closely with both shop floor and office staff, you will employ Lean Manufacturing principles to improve workflows, product quality, and employee expertise. You will also support plant teams in identifying, developing, and executing their three-year productivity improvement plans.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and facilitate process standardization efforts across the region. </li><li>Communicate and support the company's strategic vision, principles, and annual goals, ensuring ongoing alignment and progress. </li><li>Integrate leadership with Lean expertise to guide and train employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies. </li><li>Develop operational standards-including training, process parameters, supplies, equipment, task execution, and quality. </li><li>Collaborate with staff and managers to identify and implement best practices for every process. </li><li>Oversee and maintain comprehensive employee training programs. </li><li>Identify and remove waste from operations. </li><li>Lead Kaizen and other improvement events and promote standardized, disciplined work approaches. </li><li>Conduct audits of operations and processes to ensure strict adherence to established standards. </li><li>Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for process, equipment, and system issues. </li><li>Revise and establish updated standard work documentation. </li><li>Benchmark operations against industry leaders and internal best practices. </li><li>Ensure improvements meet financial targets and support plant gross productivity project pipelines. </li><li>Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives at assigned sites. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Job Requirements:</p> <p>Education/Certifications and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; Industrial engineering, operations, or related field preferred. </li><li>Continuous Improvement Certification (CI, Black Belt, Green Belt, Six Sigma, etc.) required. </li><li>Minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing environments. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient use of a computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and other related applications or software. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to support and collaborate with teams. </li><li>Solid communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. </li><li>Comfortable leading training sessions and coaching teams. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects across regional sites, prioritize initiatives based on business impact, and adapt to different operational environments and cultures while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. </li><li>Fluency in English; additional language skills (Spanish/French) considered an asset. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Effort:</p> <ul> <li>Office-based, but heavy presence in the plant is required to interact with plant operations, leadership, and staff. You may be required to visit different areas of the plant to observe operations and gather data where you will be exposed to unusual elements (dirt, dust, fumes, odors, noise). </li><li>Must be able to lift up and carry 15 pounds at times. </li><li>Substantial travel required (up to 70%) in North American region. </li></ul> <p>Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Will demonstrate, promote, and exemplify the Company's Core Values. </li></ul> <p>At C.H.
