Maintain an orderly and safe environment. Work under the general supervision of the principal, assistant principal, or teacher as required by the campus.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <p>High school diploma or GED</p> <p>Special Knowledge/Skills:</p> <p>Ability to successfully interact with children</p> <p>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>None required; some experience working with children preferred.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <p>Student Management</p> <ul> <li>A Work with campus administrators and teachers to create and maintain an orderly, secure, and safe environment. </li><li>Manage student behavior and take disciplinary action as necessary according to board policies, administrative regulations, and campus guidelines. </li><li>Guide students through lunch line; keep line moving smoothly. </li><li>Ensure that cleanliness of the assigned area is maintained. </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Maintain confidentiality regarding student and coworker information and as required by FERPA. </li><li>Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned. </li><li>Some light office/clerical duties may occasionally be required. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <p>None.</p> <p>Equipment Used:</p> <p>None.</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:</p> <p>Maintain emotional control in a multi-task environment.
