<p>Perform Drug Utilization Review and Pre-verification workflow steps while supporting clinical initiatives (e.g.: MTM, adherence programs, and other initiatives to improve patient outcomes) in a centralized, closed-door pharmacy setting. Ensure the highest quality, accuracy, and efficiency is maintained in the delivery of patient prescriptions throughout the customer experience and interaction with the host pharmacy. Direct technicians in the areas of accuracy, workflow, KHC activities. Perform and oversee the associated record keeping activities. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Minimum</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree pharmacy </li><li>Any proven leadership experience </li><li>Pharmacist License </li><li>Familiar with industry/technical terms and processes </li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite </li></ul> <p>Desired</p> <ul> <li>1 year store pharmacy experience </li><li>Any mail order experience </li><li>Perform and oversee required workflow activities defined for centralized processing and associated record keeping activities </li><li>Provide customer service making both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated </li><li>Work to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills including obtaining/maintaining additional individual pharmacy licensure as required to maintain the business </li><li>Verify prescriptions issued by prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed. </li><li>Verify new and refill medications against existing medications and patient profile to ensure that drug-drug or drug-disease interactions are reconciled prior to filling prescription </li><li>Display a positive and professional attitude </li><li>Maintain established procedures for quality assurance and reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify or correcting unsafe conditions </li><li>Communicate information with department members that impact the department or job functions </li><li>Participate in periodic review of policies and procedures and update as needed </li><li>Communicate with the Pharmacy Supervisor and Operations Manager regarding any operational issues, suggestions and/or repairs </li><li>Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal laws and guidelines, including HIPAA Fraud, Waste and Abuse, and DEA Procedures </li><li>Work collaboratively with team members to promote teamwork and align the goals of the organization </li><li>Promote trust and respect among the team </li><li>Participate in the orientation and training of new pharmacists and associates </li><li>Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation </li></ul>
