<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program </li></ul> <p>of that particular sport and the total athletic program.</p> <ul> <li>Is loyal to the coach and to the team. An Assistant Coach generally </li></ul> <p>must give up some of his/her own thoughts to conform to the</p> <p>overall pattern as set forth by the Head Coach.</p> <ul> <li>Assists the Head Coach in a manner which will be most beneficial </li></ul> <p>to the entire program.</p> <ul> <li>Assumes the responsibility for the development and guidance of a </li></ul> <p>specific team within the total program as assigned by the Head Coach.</p> <ul> <li>Attends all meetings requested by the Athletic Administrator or </li></ul> <p>Head Coach.</p> <ul> <li>Covers scouting trips requested by the Head Coach. </li><li>Assists the Head Coach in checking in all equipment at the </li></ul> <p>end of the season.</p> <ul> <li>In the absence of the Head Coach and First Assistant, if any, </li></ul> <p>assumes all responsibilities herein designated as those of the</p> <p>Head Coach.</p> <ul> <li>Abides by the Athletic Department policies and operating </li></ul> <p>procedures.</p> <ul> <li>Performs other coaching-related duties as directed by the Head Coach, </li></ul> <p>Athletic Administrator or Principal.</p>
