This role will be responsible for managing data in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), running reports to adjust current employees' job assignments and titles, and ensuring accurate and timely data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SQL, the ability to automate processes via PowerShell scripts, excellent technical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.</p> <p>Salary Lane: TECHD - Hourly pay starting at $27.25</p> <p>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Assigned Workday Calendar: 261 days (Year-Round)</p> <p>Job Status: Full-Time - 40 Hours per Week</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm</p> <p>Benefits: Full-time positions are eligible for medical, dental insurance as well as supplemental benefits such as vision, life insurance, disability, etc. Eligible for PERF Retirement.</p> <p>Paid Time Off Benefits: Eligible</p> <p>Holiday Pay: Eligible - 12 Paid Holidays</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in Information Systems Computer Science or Related Field. </li><li>Certification: Security+ preferred; Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA Database) or other database certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience: Three or more years' experience in project management and data integration across business units preferred.</p> <ul> <li>Skills and Knowledge: Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products and Office 365. Candidates with experience with Skyward, Frontline, Python, SQL, Windows Server, and Active Directory preferred. Experience in school-setting preferred. </li></ul> <p>Other: Ability to maintain a positive relationship with pupils, staff, parents, and the community.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the coordination and implementation of staff/student data and HR projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and data migration initiatives. </li><li>Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of staff reassignment due to redistricting </li><li>Regularly audit data to identify and correct any discrepancies or errors. </li><li>Coordinate with HR/Payroll/Finance to design, create and maintain employee workflow process. </li><li>Run reports from the HRIS system to analyze employee data and trends. </li><li>Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by HR, finance, or other departments. </li><li>Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement or optimization. </li><li>Utilize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from the HRIS system. </li><li>Develop and maintain SQL scripts for routine data tasks and reporting purposes. </li><li>Automate data movement and reporting via PowerShell scripting </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related issues as needed. </li><li>Work closely with the HR, finance, and IT departments to ensure data integrity and alignment with organizational goals. </li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status. </li><li>Prioritize tasks effectively to meet competing demands and deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Coordinate with HR/Payroll/Finance to design, create and maintain employee workflow process.</p> <ul> <li>Comply with all Avon Community School Corporation policies, guidelines, procedures, and protocols. </li><li>Participate in professional development, as assigned. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources and Director of Technology. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
