<p>Description</p> <p>The Staff Expeditor is responsible for providing the expediting deliverables for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects upon receipt of an approved purchase order through the closeout of the project.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Track the receipt, inspection, approval and return of all deliverables required by the contract.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and report the supplier's production schedule to ensure milestones are being met.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and present schedule updates and other status reports to the project team.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess potential fabrication or shipment delays and collaborate with the supplier to resolve to meet deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Consult with the supplier to ensure timely transportation and lifting plans and communicate these plans to the jobsite according to construction sequencing parameters.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and schedule deliveries to multiple sites and serves as a liaison between the supplier and the site personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage material deliveries onsite and identify and report discrepancies to the supplier and recommend resolution of the discrepancies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure final documentation is submitted for completion of payment milestones.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all policies and standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in business, construction management or related field, and 3 years direct experience in project procurement expediting required.</p> </li><li> <p>Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of Primavera scheduling reports and the use of material/submittal tracking software is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multi-task to support multiple projects simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be team oriented with the ability to work with limited supervision.</p> </li></ul> <p>This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.</p> <p>EEO/Disabled/Veterans</p> <p>Job Procurement</p> <p>Primary Location US-MO-Kansas City</p> <p>Other Locations United States</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time</p> <p>Travel: Yes, 25 % of the Time</p> <p>Req ID: 254388</p> <p>Job Hire Type Experienced #LI-MF #CDB</p>
