<p>Art Teacher - Digital Art - Part time</p> <p>One River School of Art + Design - Larchmont, NY</p> <p>Join a workplace that invests in you and connects you to a creative community.</p> <p>Join One River School of Art + Design to teach and mentor motivated students, work alongside practicing artists in a creative community, and grow with a team that invests in your development-from day one.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Teach Digital Design Classes: Teach weekly art and / or digital art classes from 3pm to 7pm during the week and during the day on Saturdays for a variety of ages</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure Student Success: Ensure student success in the studio and lab by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Hospitality Service & Communication: Conduct proactive check-ins with parents, students and families, support makeup scheduling, discuss student progress and opportunities for growth, upsells to additional classes / camps.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement One River Methodology Curriculum: Review lesson plans/resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class effectively and contribute to lesson plan development regularly</p> </li><li> <p>Run a best-in-class studio: Maintain the digital lab, Clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork and oversee digital lab maintenance</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design (Master's a plus) or equivalent professional experience</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years experience teaching visual arts for K-12 and/or adults.
