<p>Schedule & Compensation</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (4-hour evening shift) </li><li>Competitive Wages </li><li>Weekly Attendance Bonus available for employees who work all scheduled shifts on time </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Sew fabric and leather cushions and flat-work pieces according to production specifications. </li><li>Operate an electric sewing machine, guiding materials accurately through the needle. </li><li>Follow all established sewing standards, including: </li><li>Maintaining consistent ½" seams </li><li>Producing straight, uniform stitches </li><li>Ensuring no skipped stitches </li><li>Verifying all pieces meet required specifications </li><li>Inspecting materials for holes, flaws, or defects </li><li>Measuring welt using a ruler for correct length </li><li>Read and understand production tickets and basic sewing instructions. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years' sewing experience in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Ability to read and use a ruler accurately. </li><li>Ability to thread and operate industrial sewing machines. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset. </li><li>Strong English communication skills (reading, comprehension, speaking, writing). </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Ability to sit for up to 4 hours. </li><li>Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude. </li></ul> <p>Safety Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Follow all workplace safety rules and company procedures. </li><li>Required PPE: Safety glasses. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Indoor, ventilated furniture manufacturing environment. </li><li>Concrete floors. </li><li>Heated and cooled workspace. </li></ul> <p>Employment Details</p> <ul> <li>This is a temporary, short-duration position created to support production backlog. </li><li>Employment is at-will and will end when the project is complete. </li><li>No benefits are offered for this role. </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not make employment decisions based on race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or protected veteran status.</p>
