<p>Litigation Paralegal - Employment Law (Plaintiff-Side)</p> <p>Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)</p> <p>Compensation: Estimated $70,000-$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience</p> <p>A well-established Chicago law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Employment Law Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This role supports attorneys handling a wide range of employment matters and is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive paralegal with experience managing cases from intake through resolution.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide comprehensive litigation support in plaintiff-side employment law matters</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related claims</p> </li><li> <p>Draft, file, and manage pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage litigation calendars</p> </li><li> <p>Organize, review, and summarize personnel files, employment records, and discovery materials</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with clients, court personnel, experts, and opposing counsel</p> </li><li> <p>Handle state and federal court filings, including e-filing</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of litigation paralegal experience; employment law experience strongly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Plaintiff-side employment law experience highly desirable</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of Illinois and federal court procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written, organizational, and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <p>This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
