<p>Position: Senior Software Engineer</p> <p>Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089</p> <p>Duties: Design, build, and maintain high performant APIs and software?services to host machine learning models for search ranking (International Market). Work with Data Scientists to refine data models, design improvements, conduct experiments, and iteratively improve results. Optimize data pipelines to collect, consolidate, and normalize data to feed to machine learning models. Develop unit tests and perform integration testing. Independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues. Engage in discussions to develop system design and architecture for new software products or improvements to existing ones.</p> <p>Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.</p> <p>Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java and Python. Experience building highly scalable data pipelines using Python and Spark. Experience with Cloud technologies in GCP and Azure. Experience testing using Junit and Wire mock. Experience with Client server architecture to build clean design. Experience monitoring and troubleshooting services using Dynatrace, Splunk and Grafana. Experience designing and testing Relational Database Management Systems including DB2, MYSQL and JDBC. Experience with production support using Xmatters Alerts. Experience with performance testing using JMeter. Experience coding in Object-Oriented Programming Language using Python and Java. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.</p> <p>Salary Range: $185,587/year to $234,000/year.
