<p>General Description</p> <p>This part-time position, under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager, is responsible for the telephone system, handling receptionist duties, some typing and/or word-processing and other basic clerical support duties for the Bridgeton facilities.</p> <p>Job Requirements (Performs other WORK-RELATED duties as assigned by immediate SUPERVISOR)</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining resident accountability outside the facility by accurately recording incoming phone calls and alerting management when contract compliance is not met. </li><li>Answering incoming telephone calls unrelated to accountability calls and transferring to the appropriate party. </li><li>Complete Random Accountability Calls Daily. </li><li>Monitoring Resident movement using our T-Mobile on the Run GPS cell phone tracking system. </li><li>Delivering information about resident accountability to the Manager of Duty. </li><li>Recording clear, complete, accurate and concise telephone messages. </li><li>Maintaining Resident Cell Phone Inventory. </li><li>Operating office equipment such as a computer and facsimile. </li><li>Participating in mandatory training and staff development sessions; and </li><li>Performing other work-related duties as directed by the Director, Operations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Skill Requirements</p> <p>This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), one year of satisfactory performance in a clerical position with similar duties in a structured office environment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</p> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written </li><li>Ability to handle high volume calls </li><li>Maintain accurate of call activities </li><li>Basic Computer Skills </li><li>Modern office principles and protocol; Modern office equipment including computer; Microsoft office </li></ul> <p>Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization. </li><li>Project a professional image for the company; Learn and implement contract requirements regarding community corrections and accountability. </li><li>Maintain acceptable attendance; Manage time and prioritize activities to meet the responsibilities and duties of this position. </li><li>Provide attention to detail and follow-through; Establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, contracting agencies, and vendors. </li><li>Be flexible enough to meet unexpected job-related schedules; Meet contract agency clearance requirements; and execute all duties in accordance with this position description. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <p>This position requires a high school diploma or a GED (advanced office/business training preferred)</p>
