<p>JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments. Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine and internal medicine providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required. Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required. Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required.# Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred. Healthcare Provider BLS required. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Communication - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.# Adaptability/Flexibility - Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations that may arise with high risk or diverse patient populations. Ability to adjust actions in relation to others and adapt to offer best possible care to patients. Conflict resolution - Ability to proactively resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner. Possess the knowledge and skills to handle complaints, settle disputes, and negotiate with others to reach mutually beneficial decisions.
