No</p> <p>Classification of the position: Other</p> <p>Description: Arts Education Associate</p> <p>Campus: Post</p> <p>Department Name: Tilles</p> <p>Department's Dean and/or Director: Tom Dunn</p> <p>Location: Building and Floor: Arts Ed- Tilles Executive Offices</p> <p>Supervisor: Name: Stephanie Turner</p> <p>Title: Director of Education</p> <p>Purpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities):</p> <p>Administrative support for school partnerships, residencies, master classes, lectures, exhibitis and community partnerships wihich serve over 17,000 individuals per year.</p> <p>Duties and Principal Responsibilities:</p> <p>coordinate event registrations, correspond with patrons, develop,prepare and distribute various marketing and educational materials, organize and update calendars, recruit and coordinate student volunteers.</p> <p>provide support for weekend and evening events.</p> <p>Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program</p> <p>Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: Preferred candidates are seeking a degree in the arts, education or business administration. Applicants should have an interest and enthusiasm for nonprofit performing arts organizations, Theater for Young Audiences (TYA), and arts-in-education.</p> <p>Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $16.50 HR</p> <p>Period of employment: Begin Date: 9/2/2025 End Date: TBD</p> <p>Evaluation procedures and schedules: 17 hours per week with occasional nights and weekends.
